Sponsorship Payout Process
1.Sign the Creator Agreement: All winners will be sent the official agreement to review and sign.
2.Receive Your Travel Fund: Your $10,000 travel fund will be paid in two installments:
-50% prepaid before August 26.
-The final 50% in September.
3. Kick-Off & Gear Up in NYC: Join us in New York on Aug 26 to receive your Rokid Glasses in person.
Design Eligibility Guidelines
1. Designs that have previously won awards in other con- tests are not eligible for participation in this contest.
2. Originality: The design should be entirely original,com- plying with all relevant laws and regulations, free from amy plagiarism or copyright disputes.
3. Compliance: The design must not include any content related to violence, gore, pornography, politics, or similar subjects. If, during the contest, the Rokid team identifies any violation of the above participation and design criteria by a participant, their designs will be disqualified from the contest and will not be eligible for any awards.
Disclaimer
1. By participating in this travel-related activity, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with travel. Rokid shall not be held liable for any personal injury, property loss, accident, delay, or other unforeseen incidents that may occur during the course of the trip.
2. All participants are required to purchase personal travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, accidents, and trip interruptions. Proof of valid insurance may be requested prior to departure.
3. Rokid will provide relevant legal disclaimers and waivers, which must be reviewed and agreed to in advance. Participants are responsible for carefully reading and understanding these terms before confirming participation.
4. Your safety is important to us, and we strongly encourage all participants to take appropriate precautions during the trip.
Limitation of Liability
1. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Rokid be liable for any incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including, without limitation, loss of profits, loss of use, or any other economic advantage), regardless of the theory of liability, arising out of or in connection with this agreement or your participation in the activity, even if Rokid has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
2. Rokid’s total cumulative liability to you, arising from or related to this agreement, shall not exceed the amount, if any, paid by Rokid to you under this agreement.
3. Nothing in this agreement shall exclude or limit the liability of either party for:
(a) death or personal injury resulting from negligence;
(b) any loss or damage resulting from fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
(c) any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
